Jesus wants us to produce the kind of works that he produced, to be Christ like in nature and Christ like in results. He doesn’t want us to be seekers of signs and wonders but the doers of signs and wonders. Access to the gifts of the Spirit is accomplished in Christ Jesus.
“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
